Pepper II Gets a Second Chance!

Tagged Under : , ,

About a month ago a somewhat uncommon “Exidy” game titled Pepper II showed up on a curb in Indianapolis, Indiana. What was even more surprising was that not only was it posted on the local craigslist but collectors we discussing it on CoinOpSpace.com and KLOV.com yet it wasn’t picked up for about three days. Living in Michigan I never pay much attention to ads outside of my state. However, owning both a Venture and a Mouse Trap I found it a little unsettling that a Pepper II might end up in a landfill. But what could I do living over five hours away? Not a whole lot.

But this Pepper II might just get a second chance at life. In fact, Jeff from RotheBlog.com drove three hours round trip to save this beauty.

Lucky for me, Jeff had no interest in keeping the game so we were able to quickly work out a deal. Even better for me, my brother In law just happens to be living about 10 minutes from Jeff right now and commutes back to Michigan about every 2-3 weeks to see his wife and kids.

What’s next for Pepper II now that it has arrived to my garage in Michigan? Now that we have the game up and running it’s time to start planning it’s full restoration. I mean, what Exidy row is complete without Pepper II?
