Overall Ice Cold Beer was not in too bad of shape and the cabinet was pretty solid. But after restoring more than a few games games I’ve learned that even the easiest restoration takes longer than expected.
I stripped all the vinyl off the cabinet I spent several hours applying several coats of bondo to the cabinet and giving it a good sanding. As much as I dislike sanding and bonding a cabinet I’ve actually become pretty damn good at it and there is no way around it if you want it to look good.
The original base was pretty solid but it needed way too much TLC so I decided to construct a new base out of clean pine.
